He has spent over 20 years involved with marine mammals and this book is the culmination of his time spent with humpback whales.
The book is packed with over 90 high quality colour photographs, shot almost exclusively in the waters around Ha’apai, Kingdom of Tonga.
It provides an overview of their natural history as well as aspects of their behaviour and social interactions.  It outlines the impacts that humans have had on the whales, both historically and present day.  In the final section the author also explores how connection with theses magnificent beings can help us examine our own behaviour and perhaps improve our relationship with the natural world.
