OceansWatch Solomon Islands was set up in September 2011 with a team of highly skilled Solomon Islanders on the board of directors. The registration of this organisation will build OceanWatch’s capacity within the Pacific, increasing our ability to train local people and develop projects through local funding opportunities.

This team will lead our initiative to assist all communities in the Solomon Islands that request assistance in managing their marine resources and developing sustainable island communities.
