Ideas on how you can help

For yacht owners the obvious opportunities are to assist us with projects or to organise projects your self with our help and to use your yacht to take supplies to the Islands.Watch our training page and there we will post ways that you can upskill to be of further assistance. As a new organisationone of the main things you can do is spread the word about us. Let everyone you know hear about us, write a couple of sentances about us and send out to your address book. Think about who you know that would be inspired by Oceanswatch and recruit them for Oceanswatch. Think about your networks. Who do you know with the skills and time to help you make a difference? Who do you know in the right places, either geographicly or within appropriate organisations that could help spread the word? We have resources such as Posters/flyers and membership forms that you can use. How about a presentation to your Yacht Club back home? We can provide you with a Power Point to help you make your presentation.
We have huge needs for administration assistance too, fundraising, helping with the website and so on. If you have a few hours a week contact us and we will put you to good use:)On a practical level we need help preparing our lead yacht in the USA and seasonal help (Feb-April) on the yachts in New Zealand.
