I'm Lily, a marine biologist, sailor, scuba- diver, photographer and general water rat. I own 'Amadis', a 38 ft traditional wooden yacht which is also my home. I am based in Opua in the lovely Bay of Islands where I
currently do eco-cruise charters on Eco-Cruz www.ecocruz.co.nz

In 2004/5 I ran 'The Amadis Project' a coral reef conservation and education project running from 'Amadis' which worked in the eastern caribbean and south pacific to conduct Reef Check surveys, train Reef Check teams and give schools workshops on marine ecology and conservation. Unfortunately my website is off-line at present but will be up and running early next year.

I hope to use 'Amadis' for Oceanswatch projects in 2008.
